Commissioning a work of art is an exciting experience and important decision. The end result is a work of art that neither artist nor patron could have envisioned alone, and is an archival heirloom that will be cherished for many decades to come. My goal as an artist is to capture the unique character of the subject and record a special moment in time. I base my work from life, employing in-person sittings or on-site sketches with my own photographs.
